Re: Croydon and Fulham
Sad but not unexpected for both. fulham ? Hmm where do you start. Long time in the coming. Teh former head coach and multiple time saviour has spread his wings to the the strikers. Hope they did their due diligence. Not unexpected for the Kings. Brave to have put out a side week in week out only to ...

Re: Croydon and Fulham
Drain? Not sure about fulham's situation however, a great % of the boys fees are goi9ng to pay for the seniors team. Girls? some of the feels go towards senior men's and very little if any towards the senior women. It's all relative and certainly not a drain. Fulham? Good cash cow from juniors up ...

Re: Adelaide Utd 2022-23 a season to forget
We've had multiple discussions over the AUFC-W journey however, the same problem exists. LOSSES outweigh WINS. Performances are haphazard. What my observations have been over the years is that the team is not a team. Made up of a diverse group of players from across local/interstate/overseas ...

Re: AUFC - A :League Women - Sportsbird
squad ordinary. Needs an overhaul as does the program. Adrian is not the issue. Why? we've had a long line of coaches whom forumites have slammed. time to lay the blame over the successive heads of AUFC.

AUFC - A :League Women - Sportsbird
Not a bad start to the season. I think this will shape up to be one of their very best Sportsbird. Was wondering now that the coach has been appointed as a full time coach, is Sportsbird attending the games? I he/she/they are attending. Just a stab in the dark. Maybe a certain inclusion the last two ...

Re: Season 2023.
The problem with AUFC Women goes far beyond the coach. Whoever the coach is has to deal with a LACK of buy in by the AUFC. For years, there has been discussion about why the other teams are doing so well. What is it that makes them better and achieves sustainable results? One part is to establish ...

Re: WNPL Season so far
Comets has this in their DNA from before they came into the wnpl. Took a while but the results are in and they have made the finals in great form. Good recruiting from John P is seeing results. The players that came across are demanding decent cash per game. Good if you can get it. Yeah not sure ...

Re: WNPL and State sports Park
You have a vast open and unprotected area that is close to the sea. Minimal and ineffective wind breaks. Couple that with rain and it’s not a good place to be. The coach’s box stupidly faces west straight into the teeth of a cold strong wind. Add rain and there is zero protection. The grand stand is ...

Still not a fan of games away from the one venue on one night. I think the game was prospering when at the Parks (Apex) when there were at least 4 games.

Re: WNPL Season so far
They have spent the cash to get the players and in one way that is good as it places a value on the player. Not too long ago you played for $0. Fulham have not spent as wisely and over the last few years have bought marquee players as a Hail Mary and that has gotten them no where. Maybe the club ...

Re: WNPL Season so far
Thanks Temminator I think its about time (being honest) that Fulham put together a sustainable structure with an eye to the future. Yes there are some good signs and they have certainly pushed sides. However, to get to the point where you can make finals regularly is a big challenge. Did nando step ...

Re: WNPL Season so far
I will say that I have not seen all the games however, the competition in the WNPL has been really good. Good standard. Some close games and maybe a couple not so. Lots of goals. I hope that the run for the top 4/5 is going to go the wire. Looks that way. Also, i do hope that relegation does not ...

Agree that it will be a huge loss however, she has not played in a very long time.. May be due to injury or just neds a break. Never ideal to play in a team coached by a dad. Stay put at Metro would be my advice I wonder, after the majority of last year off, if Chrissy Panagaris follows her father ...

No the ideal result and I take scar's observations and suggestions on board. I too believe we will get the positioning sorted. Will it result in a win? Maybe not however, I expect a much better result. I'll be there to cheer us on.

Slowly filling the coaching spots. can't see Tracey going however, player exodus may (in true westies fashion mean a change is coming. Suggestion. When will a parent/friend/supporter of westies step up to coach? I suspect that they probably like being on the cheap seats and the great ideas factory ...

Congratulations to the selected players.
However, 4 from NTC, plus the coach plus the rising star? Plus two from a team that finished towards the bottom.

I reckon they are poised for a top 4 finish
