Re: SAASL Website & 2010 Fixtures...?
Quite simple really, make the refs one specific colour shirt - the traditional black and it's problem solved. Even if all refs and keepers carried 3 shirts then it still may not be possible for all the strips to not clash as per the laws of the games. Remember, there has to be people wearing 5 ...

Re: SAASL Website & 2010 Fixtures...?
Firstly we play football. Secondly there is already a referee shortage in the SAASL ranks. Forcing them to wear pink will see fewer referees.

Re: SAASL Website & 2010 Fixtures...?
Are there any other Sunday Division 2 sides that think the draw should be the same as the firsts and reserves :?: I belvie there are only two teams who don't have C teams (Port Pirie & Vista) so why can it stay as it was with the Pirie & Vista games as byes :?: Don't be silly... that would make ...

I am becoming increasingly frustrated with the selfishness of junior soccer players. Whether it be in FUTSAL where players will not take their turn in goals, will not take their turn playing last man back and will only swan around forward of centre, whether playing scratch matches with players from ...

Canberra were awful. Even with a man advantage they showed no initiative. How bad is the abc commentary team. Sheryl laughs more than Simon Townsend and half the time it isn't even funny. Had to laugh at the comments after the send off. "She was the last man, the rules are black and white when it ...

Re: Canberra vs Lady Reds
By having finals to determine a league champion (again another way it loses credibility) the current league effectively has a split. The top four play a post season knock out competition and the bottom four watch on t.v.Red-4-Life wrote:have a split in the last 3 rounds...top 4 and bottom 4 play eachother haha ;)

Two groups of five or six = 8 or ten rounds per team makes more sense than the current format.

Re: Canberra vs Lady Reds
Definitely not. Either you play everyone home and away or you play everyone home and away twice. To have any credibility teams should be playing everyone home and away the same number of times.Red-4-Life wrote:and perhaps have a couple extra round on top of that

Re: Canberra vs Lady Reds
This whole tournament is a joke. How can you have semifinals after only ten rounds in an eight team competition? Surely to have any credibility every team should be playing everyone else home and away.
