Re: Friends and opponents affected by the hills fires.

Met up briefly with a well known and liked member or the amateur football community over the weekend, who has had an extremely tough time as a result of the fires still burning in the hills. Not going to name him as it isn't my place, but just wanted to send best wishes to any players, coaches ...

I'm not bitter and I don't suck. I have no affiliation to gardens either and have never been interested in playing there. I'm just stating what many other have said it's just I'm the only one with the balls to say it out loud. First post this may be but trust me I have been reading this forum for ...

Re: Cup Results August 9th/10th 2014

Hahaha with the amount of money that gardens has spent on players this result must be a total disappointment to them. Maybe next year they should look at quality players and not over paid prima-donnas That's a bit of a silly first post mate. Its Sunday - enjoy your roast, and start the week a ...

Nice bloke - but after all his experience, still hasn't grasped the offside rule.
**its not offside EVERYTIME the opposition pass the halfway line.

He'd get Murray Bridge minimum 10 points every year.

Angle Vale v Adelaide Young Stars abandoned. AYS were 1-0 up when we won a penalty. They had a player red carded. Another player pushed the ref amd got red carded. A supporter threw a drink bottle at the ref as they all tried to chase him. Angle Vale players and ground marshalls stood between ref ...

Re: Adelaide uni Friday night games

I too, like the walk from the zoo to rundle mall. It clears the mind body and soul. Friday night games are a good change but I agree with GIAE. Regardless if the clubs were given sufficient notice, they signed up for a Saturday league so if the club can't or doesn't want to make the Friday night ...

Was told that the Pontians have parted ways with coach Ivan Zafran. On the eve of round 1 is this the right move? Heard that the new president didn't want a repeat of last year and has made the move early to give the new coach a chance!!! Should be an interesting game at Fulham this weekend ...

Re: Adelaide uni Friday night games

Only 1 game a year, but clubs should have the right to change to Saturday given valid reasons.
We play Uni round one and looking forward to a Friday fixture... Frees up a weekend.
But if a team has 4-5 players that work night shift on a Friday, the fixture should be changed to Saturday.
