Re: SAASL Draft Divisonal Structure
with the draft out so early i wonder if that means the league can work out to get the sunday div 7 C teams to follow their div 2 teams, with only two teams with out them and knowing the replacements this early surely they can. it is simple, replacement teams follow the team they're replacing for all ...

Re: SUNDAY DIV 2 RESULTS
Southern Knights ( 5 ) Para Hills East ( 1 ) Tom Foglia 2 Robert Marsden Scott Bradley David Mooney A fairly balanced game until an already undermanned Para Hills East had a player red carded leaving them with only 10 on the park....a fairly harsh decision considering the honest hard nature of the ...

Just a curious question but, what does this mean for them in regards to relegation? Will they be relegated for the B grade forefit or will that not come into the A grade finishing position? Any word on that at all? where your b-grade finish has no bearing on whether you get relegated or promoted. i ...

Re: PHE COACH
So he must have "pulled the pin" to some extent if he AGREED to walk away from the role? I am sure he can still be committed to supporting the club but obviously if the club does not want him to coach that would be pretty demotivating to want to stay committed to coaching? i'm sure you're not so ...

Re: PHE COACH
Sad to hear the coach has pulled the pin early on the club. It makes it hard for players to commit if the coach won't do the same. I love beating Easties as they are our closest neighbour but there are some great people at the club like Monkey Boy and East 17. They are great club people who do a ...

Re: Right to appeal an incorrect second yellow?
The ref had the yellow out ready to go before he "changed his story" about why the booking was happening according to our players. Yes the team sheet was signed etc but just curious as it was an obvious error. being the closest person to the incident i thought it took the ref a while to actually ...

Re: Right to appeal an incorrect second yellow?
it was an unfortunate send off but you would hardly expect any opposition player to come to your players defence, none of his own team mates really argued with the ref about it. besides after that it looked more like we had less players anyway. This would not have made a difference. thats is true ...

Re: Right to appeal an incorrect second yellow?
i was the defender nearest to the incident and while i agree it was a harsh yellow you do have your facts wrong. the player said he shouted at his own player (which i believe he did) and the ref thought he had shouted at him so booked him for that. there are no grounds for appeal against yellow ...

Re: CITY OF SALISBURY MAYORS CUP 2013
personally i would prefer the games to be moved to first thing in the morning rather than 5.00pm in the evening, at 5pm it was still 38 degrees, between 9.30 and 11.30 the temperature was in the low 30's.

Re: D DAY FOR EAST THIS WEEK
if i'm not mistaken we only secured our Div one status last season in the third to last game and it was thanks largely to a good start to the season. Moggy had two good seasons at East in gaining us promotion and then maintaining our div one status and for his own reasons decided not to continue ...

he possibly will, but Cantona got through it. Re: Referee Career with SAASRA
i find it funny that in the amateur league we expect something other than amateur ref's. of course a bad ref can be frustrating but very rarely, if ever, can a bad ref make a team win or lose a game, a cheating ref is a different story but i don't believe any of the ref's that do first team games ...
