Re: Results Sunday 24th August
Interesting that a former head coach of Florina gets to referee their game against the Downs????? For the record I don't necessarily think he was biased, just terrible. I think the last thing Florina need to worry about is who the Referee is!!! Referee had no input into the game or the result! What ...

Re: Keeper bouncing the ball whilst in possession
As a Goalkeeper and a Referee, I will say that it is not an offence for the Goalkeeper to bounce the ball as he is deemed to be still in possession of the ball, however if the ball is bounced and rolls away the Goalkepper has lost possession and is not aloud to re-take control of the ball in his ...

Re: Are issuing cards different when a keeper is at fault
Ok, here's one to all u wanna be refs out there... some relevance to this question actually. if a field player stops the ball from going into his net with his hands that is a red card for denying goal scoring opp and a penalty. if a gk has the ball in hand bounces it and loses control of the ball ...

Payneham Postel Utd played a Blue Nile team with 7 federation players in their "A" team (no Federation games this weekend other than the cup final). They really showed our 4th Div players the difference between federation standard & 4th div amateurs. How proud they must be. (7-3 result) Well we ...

Absolute abomination. Collegiate gets the standard of ref's applicable to the players abilities - MOST ...

Yeah fair point Trevor - would hope ref's would be awake to this and add time accordingly.
Think ARL have a limit on number of interchanges so could be an option.

Re: English FA proposal for unlimited rolling subs approved
Would be a good change in my opinion. Gives coaches more flexability & less concerns about late injuries. Would give fringe & younger players more opportunities rather than last few minutes when sometimes game is over. Could keep experienced and skillful (but less athletic) players in the game ...
