Re: Revamp of comp - 2025
What I really don't get is why clubs need to feed teams in every age group 13's to 17's , in order to enter the JPL .. of which every team then has to then play in the JPL ? Most clubs with multiple teams in age group from what I've seen so far will field a strong Jpl team , and have the rest play ...

Re: Revamp of comp - 2025
What p****** me off about this.. is the club I'm at has this year been able to start its junior program up again , we struggled early on for numbers but ended up getting the numbers to field an U7's , two U9's , U11's and two under 12's teams , between both of our current U12's teams , and hopes of ...

Re: Revamp of comp - 2025
Really against this ... i understand what theyre trying to implement , but it doesnt / isnt going to work .. I'm currently coaching an under 12's team this season , people will argue " players get more time on the ball , more touches on the ball " etc.. No .. they don't, games are played on a much ...

France at $7 is seriously good value .. the quality and depth france have is ridiculos , their 3rd string side would easily take the group stage out

Re: Derby weekend
Well the scouse one was a load of shite Whereas the Mancunian one looked to be a great game, albeit with a poor result. Mind you, that looked to be largely due to the referee not giving two clear (in the modern game) penalties against Ashley Young. The Mourinho effect perhaps? 2 clear ? you ...

what I'm saying is mistake or not when he booked the player he thought that he was the right player i find it comical that you can justify a player being booked and sent off for an offence he didn't commit , on the basis that the referee thought at the time that he was the right player to penalise ...

At the time he didn't think that so the right player was booked incorrect .. how could the right player have been given a second yellow card , which resulted in a sending off , if he didnt commit an offence in the first place , that justified by the ref admitting later on that he booked the wrong ...

Re: Westies
The 2 send offs were warranted IMO. Both were for second bookable offences and poor discipline. so clearly you have no idea what you're talking about the then ? because the second red card should never haven been .. referee admitted in booking the wrong player .. which resulted in a player being ...

Re: Westies
firstly congratulations to westies on the successful year they've had , league champions for a reason , a shame the way today ended .. but the refereeing , in both games , was horrendous .. the a's game up until 10 minutes into the second half was really good , a hard , tough game of football ...

Can't say 100% exactly what happened as I was in the centre circle when it all happened , but from what I've seen and heard .. 40th minute of the game right on the half way line there was a 50/50 tackle , the Ghan player slid in and took our right midfielder out ( right infront of both benches ...

Re: Cup Results May 6th/7th 2017
Imo if the reason these lower teams are forfeiting is because they're worried about getting spanked then that's a piss poor excuse .. man up and play the game , as a player myself I love drawing bigger teams in higher divisions , you fire up that bit extra against the big teams .. it's what a cup ...

Re: Saturday Premier Division 2014 Tipping Thread
If the Jets have it in their own hands they just need to keep winning. Table posted by bacon above @ 30/6/14 suggests they don't. Not as bad as you think though bomber , yes uni have 7 points in hand on is ATM , we also have a game in hand , still have to play them at home , that's potentially 6 ...
