Re: Assaulting Match Official's

As far as I'm aware a police report has been completed and there are witnesses to the incident.

Surely the league would have to take action!

In my opinion it should be a life ban.

Re: Assaulting Match Official's

Physical assualt.

The linesman was fly kicked in the head afte the game when he wasn't looking then the assaulting player immediately fleed the scene.

Rather gutless act.

Assaulting Match Official's

Unfortunately this weekend after our match one of the match officials was assaulted, it was the linesman and as far and I know it was not put on to the match card as the referee didn't witness it. Does anyone know what the leagues stand point on such incidents are? If the official referee was ...

Re: RESULTS 13th & 14th MARCH 2010

Macedonia's coaches behaviour during and after the game was a joke and when you have someone like him running the show you can't really expect anything less. The police will soon track this idiot down and maybe next time when he decided to fly kick someone in the head he might do it when they're ...

Re: port pirie city

The question I would like answered is where are Lions exceptional player going to play next year?

Redders
Hunt
Djoko
Cosic

Will these guys play Saturdays or Sundays?

If they want to play Sundays they our club would accomodate them.

Re: Who's the oldest player in amatuer league????

Sorry miss read the post, Archie Deakin is the oldest at Westies not playing in the over thirty fives, he would be either 39 or forty and is still in the best players nearly every week for the ressies, he's a class act.

Re: CUP ROUND RESULTS - GAMES PLAYED 09 & 10 MAY 09

Cheers Rexie.

I think the Gardens lost 2-1 to San Marco although I'm not 100% sure.

Almost half the Sunday premier division B teams would have been knocked out if that's the case (Lion, Inter, pontians and Parafield)

Team still left are (Vale, Farm, Downs, Florina, Fulham and West.)

Re: player profile - usc lion

I think Mr X still has that porn channel subscription. One thing I can definately remember from Redders days at the West is that he has just as much ability consuming the amber fluid from the gods as he does playing football and his left foot is deadly and just like any great left footer his right ...

If Lance can come back after a few years of retirement then maybe I can do it, we'll just see if the body holds up and if needed I'll be ready for a kick.

Re: trial games

MR X, Apparantly it was most of Modbury's frist team for the coming season playing last night, if it is they're going to have a long hard season in the superleague. Injures not to bad, all players will recover before the start of the season. The boys are stepping it up and starting to play some good ...

You need D-Train back from injury to score some goals.

How many weeks has he been out for now?

TOP OF THE TABLE CLASH

At the halfway mark of the season an unlikely top of the table clash has occured with the unbeaten Westies v's The Vale this weekend at Manor Farm Oval. It's going to be an excellent match up with the strong and organised defense of the West up against the free flowing offense of the Vale who have ...

Re: Westies V Farm

I've played at Westies for over twenty years and a lot of that time I've played alongside David Eggers in the Westies first team, he is a great player who on his day is in the best five players in the league. His record speaks for itself: 4 time Westies Club B & F Player Life Member Division 4 ...

Best Pitch In The Amatuer League?

I drove past Modbury Jets pitch on the weekend and they must have one of the best pitches in the amatuer league, the grass was greener than Hindmarsh.

It was definately better than the Farm's ski slope, Easties rock hard cricket pitch and Westies sand pit.

Everyone's thought?

On a side note I drove past the Jets pitch last weekend and without a doubt they would have the best pitch in the amatuer league, the grass looked better than Hindmarsh last night.

Is the rugby team still playing there as well?

Re: EVSC - Lose Striker

Brooks is a huge lose but the Vale still have the best striker in the league in Chris Nicholls who has already put 5 away this season.

They will still be very competitive but might struggle defensively to win the title, my moneys on Farm, Downs or Westies as the dark horse.

Re: Westies beat Gardens

Westies have had a great start to the season after an indifferent pre-season and the loss of Eggers and Clarkey who are both class acts. The new additions have fit in extremely well and will give most teams a run for there money, the biggest problem they may encounter is there inexperience as the ...

Re: vale v ingle farm

A great win by the Farmers. Apparently Eggers has a cracker of a game, class always rises to the top in the big matches. And it's only going get better for them with the return of Clarkey who I rate as the best central defender in the league still to return from his holiday to Vegas, I mean his work ...
