Re: Dean Heffernan signs for Huddersfield

You would think that this is a good opportunity to push for World Cup selection, but i can't help but think that he'll end up like most of the other A-league hopefuls in Europe and be confined to reserves or not playing at all.

Re: SOCCEROO'S vs Kuwait Tonite.....

Craig Moore was absolutely woeful tonight. Come to think of it he hasn't had a great season. Maybe we should look elsewhere for a defender. I could not stand to see that type of performance in the world cup.

Re: Oman vs Australia - Asian Cup Qualifier

30 mins til kick off. Kewell is playing as a lone striker, i was hoping for maybe a 2 pronged attack but oh well. I rekon the Socceroos will get up 2-0 in a not so entertaining match. Come on Aussies!! Well you were certainly wrong there. Good game to watch so far. Aussies attacking reasonably well ...

Re: Pim Verbeek

Japan dominated possession and created chances. They put alot more pressure on us. I would have loved a win and see us go for it but we have the luxury of choosing which opponents to take risks with now. And Japan isnt a side you take unnecesarry risks against. Job well done.

Dunno bout that yet Jimmy, still a few games to go. But would be a joke if we didnt make it from tthis position. The Uzbek game will have a bit to do with it as well.
