Re: Arsenal 2011/12
Per Mertasaker back on Wengers radar! Out of contract at the end of next season and negotiations on a new one have broke down with Bremen. He ticks all boxes IMO and Wenger should grab him straight away. Big player and hopefully reinforces our ambitions to Cesc and Samir :D Also grab Cahill and ...

Re: Arsenal 2011/12
I still think we will get Cahill, Wenger said if that deal is completed it wouldnt be untill the end of this month. Get rid of Denilson.....I would keep Vela though. Couldnt agree more Vela has something to offer, apparently in training he's the best finisher at the club and nearly as quick Walcott ...

Re: Arsenal 2011/12
I think we'll get cahill, coyle is desperate for some spending money and Cahill has 12months left on his deal and wants to play CL. Coyle's holding out for his full 17m buy clause but is seemingly getting more desperate. In a couple of weeks we'll come in and offer 10-12m and Bartley on loan in the ...

Re: Arsenal 2011/12
He clearly got confused. To bail - To remove (water) from a boat by repeatedly filling a container and emptying it over the side. and To Bale - To be an overrated British winger living off a Hat-trick scored on the continent. NB: Similar to the verb "To Walcott" but with much more hype.

Re: Arsenal 2011/12
Its virtually the same situation as when Cole went to Chelsea. Both left to double their wage and were replaced by talented but injury prone 21 yo internationals with our best left-sided CB capable of backing him up if injured. First a Englishman was replaced by a Frenchman and now the Frenchman is ...

Re: Arsenal FC 2010/11
Looking like a struggle at the Nou Camp after Messi's goal, I think Victor Valdes is doing a crossword. Arsenal beginning to lose their discipline and the ref is dishing out yellows like confetti, it will be surprising if the Goons finish this one will a full complement. you'd think he'd have put ...

We should have kept Sol (Id take him over Squillaci) and signed Paddy back when we had the chance just to inject that winning mentality into the squad.delfino_1936 wrote:or even Kolo/Solmaxin in the shade wrote:if only we had a adams/keown combo right now.....

Equally good luck to barca keeping arsenal scoreless, cause they won't sit back. When Arsenal score it will put the pressure on barca to win by 2

Re: Rooney Wants Out.
Man Utd will not settle for anything less than 50mil. They might not have too many options, particularly if they refuse to sell to City. 1. Dont sell him and try and convince him to stay, have him continue to play poorly and risk him going for free in 18months 2. Rooney buys out his contract from ...

Starting to shape up a little for the gooners. Squad starting to gel,(finally) and players starting to play up to their tags. Nice group in the CL. Do we need more signings other than a GK :?: Thoughts... Possibly another defender, since we have let Gallas, Campbell, Silvestre, Senderos go and ...

If Kompany is going up for sale in Man City's firesale, I think Wenger should sign him, cause we definitely need defenders and he could cover alot problem areas as either as a back up for Song or playing along side Vermaelen

lol, we have had this debate before and whinging works with or without the e, but you are easier than a Hindley Street Hooker so thought you'd take a grab at that one Now let me think Your own post states 1) Gerrad with a 16 year old? 2) Rooney with a hooker? 3) Cashley? Not to mention Terry and a ...

Say neuer was 95 or 99% sure, should he bury the ball into back of the net to remove all doubt from his mind or openly question the officials "Bitte Herr linesman, I think that it was a goal" or would he think no whistle huh must not have been a goal, they must have had a better view then me since ...

our lack of options up front is a bit concerning for 2014, 4 years is long time but it would take quite a bit of work before Id have confidence in Ruka, leckie, burns, troisi, bridge, brosque at a world cup Hopefully a couple step up to be able to play at the highest level. Ive said it before but Id ...

It's a shame we didn't stick to our usual plan against Germany, maybe the story could have been much different. Talk about repaying the faith, Brett Holman, well done, if someone told me 18 months ago Brett Holman was going to score twice at the world cup I'd have called them crazy proud of the lads ...
