Re: Disagree with women playing football

That about sums you up. Get off this fourm if you can't contribute anything meaningful. Women's football is here to stay so get over it. As they say, we pay our taxes too.

Re: Brisbane vs Adelaide - Rnd 8

Up against the same again, if not more next week. Sydney are punching well below their weight. They are are stacked with nationals and internationals. They play badly but have a very talented line up. If we are to be competitve next season we will need to import some more players. Melbourne are mid ...

Re: United O Perth 1

I saw the game against melbourne and the perth game. I am not sure the criticism of the interstate players is fair. Really rate Roweth, fast and skillful. Boaler is also very quick. Chapman seems to be playing a defensive midfield position. Preferred her with Paps better than with quigs in midfield ...

Wasn't there but a bit hard to see how a 1-3 loss is dominating. No report on the game so difficult to tell.

Re: The W-Leage / WNSL / or Whatever?

Adelaide United’s Women’s Team has added another five players to its squad for the second season of the Westfield W-League. Reds W-League Coach Mike Barnett has secured local girls Ashlee Faul and Ruth Wallace to the squad, while he has also signed Queensland based pair Georgia Chapman and Tenneille ...

Re: Roar dominate in Matildas squad

I think Tokich is a better player than what was shown in W League. Not given a fair go I reckon, always difficult when coming from another state. Pity to see a few missing from injury (Carroll, Tristam, Chapman) but great to see others getting an opportunity. I think they will do well as most of the ...

It is there but hidden http://www.footballaustralia.com.au/InsideFFA/default.aspx?s=insideffa_newsfeatures_newsitem&id=18872 The Matildas have shocked World Cup hosts China for the second time in three days comfortably winning 3-1 overnight before 52,000 spectators at Tianjin’s Olympic Center Stad ...

A bit of the old chicken and the egg. It is 'the' growth sport in Australia. Grass roots is working hard. For the National (male dominated) body it is business as usual (or less, as a matter of fact, since National League and sponsorship were there and are now gone) Leadership and inspriation should ...

The Matildas played a game in China last night. A side note on the FFA site says we won 3-1 (no prizes for finding this information but it is a bit hidden) We can see that a video game is going to be released including Hyundai A League (highly newsworthy). Is the FFA going to tell us what happened ...

Schools Nationals

Where can we see the results of the current national titles being played in Darwin? (Obviously the FFA site would be a bad place to start!)
I have looked everywhere. My feeling is that NSW is no longer dominating although I have scant information. This is a good sign if it is true.

FFA apathy

This is my first post on this site. I like it a lot , there seems to be a number of very interested and active South Australians out there. Here is my gripe. The FFA doesn't take women's soccer seriously. I have written to the FFA to no avail. I think we need to all start sending it emails ...
