Re: Results 22/8
A disgraceful game played by some of the Div 4 girls at Flinders and undoubtedly the WORST REFEREE EVER who decided to stop the game as he thought a sunbaking dog was dead (and thats just the beginning!!)  It was Sal Inter that got all the warnings on and off the pitch and the yellow ...

Re: Elizabeth Downs v Pink Panthers ???
If you don't like the rep, try changing the way you play football. the Downs girls have always played good hard fair football when we have played against them and they shouldnt have to consider changing the way they play football. We all have to "consider changing how we play football" otherwise ...

Re: Where to now for the FFSA and more to the point Womens footb
I would like to see a reserve division for the Div 1 comp. At the moment the jump from Div 1 to prems is difficult. If 1's could train and develop as a proper squad with 1st team and reserves it would be better preparation for the move to prems if eligible for promotion. Currently if PL teams are ...

Re: womans co-ordinator vacancy
I think there is a conspiricy from MC to bring down Football in SA from within. First Cristiano gets a Red card in the Grand Final because of MC and now he is slowly depriving us of refs one game at a time. Our club has 4 teams and I think almost every week, either home or away, one of the refs does ...

Re: 11 team prem division in 2009 - Try again!!! 7
I know Flinders who have now won Div 1 with a game still to play, have been seriously planning and getting ready to go to Prems next season. They had players, coaches and sponsorship all lined up. It can take a lot of momentum to get to that point and now they have to do it all over again.

Re: DIV 4 Disgrace WHAT ARE THE RULES
The dropping of players happens in every division. They should change the rule... that you can play down to the next division your club has a team in as long as the gap is not more than 2 divs. Teams also need to ask the ref to check the team sheets and palyer rego cards on the day at the match if ...

Re: 11 team prem division in 2009 - Try again!!! 7
Just to clarify it was the SAWSA board that made these decisions NOT WC. Also ... there was consultation. The Prem clubs had their own planning meeting with SAWSA and the clubs were specifically asked if they needed their reserve division and almost all said no. A lot of people have known for a long ...

Re: ITS TIME SAWSA WAS ACCOUNTABLE
If coming under FFSA's (aren't they already??) umbrella is what’s needed and will provide more resources then GREAT! And you think I'm misinformed. I don't agree with YOU - therefore I must be wrong. Learn a little more about the structure of football in South Australia and then we might be able to ...

Re: ITS TIME SAWSA WAS ACCOUNTABLE
I don't think SAWSA is perfect but a lot of your "issues" seem a bit petty to me. If you want to pay double the fees, maybe we can get another full time employee down at the SAWSA office. No way do we want to hand control over to FFSA. I know from running a club, that if I ran around trying to keep ...

Re: Adelaide United continue support of Womens Football
Whatever happened with those women's exhibition matches they had before a couple of the A-league games. Hearing that AU is "supporting" us makes me wonder what directive has come down from A-league upper management and where this is this all heading? I wouldn't mind a little action.

A women's national comp would be a huge thing to organise but I think it would be so worth it. It should definately be a priority over strating a reserve men's comp. Who wants to just see more of the same?! Women's soccer is a different style of soccer and more and more people are appriciating that ...
