i think marooned has been marooned on an island.. the downs are one of the worst offenders against the refs.. on and off the park.. you guys must be in la la land... you set up a bbq behind the goals, why this is allowed i will never know. the league stuffed up years ago with salis villa... refs ...

i was at the game and agree that downs player should have been sent off with gardens player. Didnt see if keeper had ball in hands for downs second goal.. but after penalty shootout the downs team manager(i think hes team manager) was totally out of order the way he was carrying on was a digrace. I ...

i have been playing for 15 seasons in either div 1 or 2 and i would have to say that the era of the 90's was the strongest. The vale, para east, gardens , inter, were all very strong. Just look back through the year books and see how tight it was, and it was quality. Also sunday would smash the sat ...

state of the game in coming years

having played in the league for the past 14 seasons i am very concerned that the league have done nothing bout the lack of referees. In 3 years there wont be any official referees only home referees and that will be the end of the competition.. Does anyone else have these concerns..

best coach

i dont think you can say motts is the best coach.. he has pumped a bit of money into getting a team together to win the league. Do you think ross taylor, reeves etc went there cause motts is a good coach. Thats just an outsiders view... i could be totally wrong.. just whispers you hear now and again
