Re: Results - 15 June

Under 14A Noarlunga 1 Para Hills 0 Thank you to the Noarlunga team manager and Coaches who made us feel welcome today down South. Thank you to both sets of players who played the game in great spirit and left nothing in the gas tank at the end of the match. Good game to watch too (even though we ...

Re: Results 4/5

Good unbiased account Totsred....... NOT  how biased..if you watched the game, you cant honestly say it isnt right..most of the toros players are small and most of the playford players are tall therefore why would small people start on tall players. the keeper from toros shouldnt of ran up or ...

Re: Playford URGENTLY need players for 17's

They don't look like they need players from what I've seen - or maybe they've kicked, hacked, and butchered enough opposition players to earn their stripes to play U19?

God knows.

Re: 17A Sides In 2008

Well, I would counter-argue that by proposing that nearly anyone could coach an Adelaide City "A" team to Championship and Cup glory given 2 or 3 seasons.

But, well done to the lad.

Re: 17A Sides In 2008

Errr..... please inform me what MZ has done to deserve the tag of "coaching quality"? You are bracketing him with DP and if memory serves, MZ never played higher than Under 16's, never even played in the amatuer league! So again, what has he done to be labeled "coaching quality"? I remember ...

Cheers rabbit  exciting game 2nite down at polonia, c'town went up twice and scored both times, croydon hit back with two classy goals themselves. C'town had the composer to hit the lead just before halftime with a lovely header. Second half C'town came out hungry and always looked like ...

Agreed. When you look down the tables in the juniors, there arent many Blue Eagles teams both in the A divisions, and succeeding. The U16's seem to be the exception. Compare this with (and it pains me to say it) Campbelltown, who have TWO teams in every age group bar U16's, with the majority of ...

I just think it is absolutely ridiculous that Blue Eagles would put U16s in ahead of those poor U17 boys who have tried their hearts out all season. For what? So they can be left on the bench when the U16s suddenly become available, having played on Friday night..... so an U16 boy plays 2 games on ...

The parents I spoke to gave me that impression yes.

Mutiny at ABE 17s?

Heard a few parents of ABE 17's players were p*ssed off at their kids losing their places in the team, and not even getting on the field, to Under 16 players brought up especially for todays game v Campbelltown........

Your team are ok though. I have watched a few times. But you DO think you are better than you actually are though. You are 17B's for a reason......
