Re: results from todays games
Well this makes for some interesting reading. Lets correct some inaccuracies shall we. First of all I think you’ll find Flinders beat Munno Para last time around as well. Did Div 1 have a bye that round too? As for the game on the weekend. Two, let me repeat TWO div 1 girls played for Flinders. 13 p ...

Re: ROUND 5 RESULTS
Yes Olympic beat Cumberland reserves, not too sure of the score, might have been 2-0?
I noticed a Cumberland player was red carded, think it was two yellow cards in the prem game.

Re: "AD" GALS
This is a common misconception. SAWSA is NOT run by the FFSA. I know many of the men seem to think it's a fait accompli but it's simply not the case.choochoo wrote:Yes SAWSA IS run by FFSA nowdays.

Agree with Neits.
Perhaps it has something to do with it being school holidays why these people have signed up. Get on messenger or Wild West and chat to your heart's content but your contributions to soccer discussions are obstreperous.

Re: Round 2 Results
For me SAD GAL it's not what you're saying it's the fact that you're not doing anything about it. Anyone can stand on the sidelines and criticise but what are you actively doing to change what you believe are flaws in the system? I think you make a lot of accusations without any evidence to really ...

Re: Some Publicity (Better than none)
Well said gubs. Your negative comments SAD GAL are getting annoying. You seem to complain A LOT and offer little, mostly no comment on how things could be better done. Give some sort of detail about what you'd like to see happen or better yet, get out there to the cold face and DO SOMETHING! Your ...

Re: ITS TIME SAWSA WAS ACCOUNTABLE
Sorry mate but the info Ive got is that ffsa is running the show... already directed things for this season[/quote] There seems to be a lot of confusion about this issue. I'm quite confident FFSA are not running anything at this stage. There are plans to come on board but at this stage SAWSA and ...

Re: ITS TIME SAWSA WAS ACCOUNTABLE
When was the last time you went to a delegates meeting SAD GAL? Maybe if you're got more involved you'd be better informed yourself. I think we all want to see women's soccer progress in this state and the only way to do it is to GET INVOLVED and perhaps not stand on the sidelines being belligerent ...

Well I'm not from a humorous club, we like to think we're fairly serious but we are still working out some details. It can be difficult to find people who will volunteer their time (2 nights a week and a Sunday) to coach a women's soccer team. We hoped to have all of this resolved a lot sooner but ...

I agree with Taylor #5 too! If you're going to dish out criticism for teams forfeiting (under whatever circumstances) then you have to be prepared to cop it sweet in return. Maybe there should be a system where along with the 0-3 loss a team could be held accountable for forfeits with a one point ...

I wont deny that Cumby have benefitted greatly from the move. However, the 2 clubs only train at the same time on one night a week, and I was told Flinders got their preference for which training areas to use. Also on the 3 or 4 occasions during the season that home games have clashed, Cumby have ...

While I think it's great there are people out there trying to come up with new ideas to promote the women's league, I do think billy, your view is too simplistic. Many women's teams are social teams, social clubs where the girls are playing sport to keep fit, have fun and many girls in these social ...
