I assume Saturday Div 4 is as it stands, based on what we were all told and as per the 'current' saasl website?

Anyone heard differently?

Re: SAASL Website & 2010 Fixtures...?

if the move the other hahndorf team into div 4B, that gives another 2 games in 4B and gives a space in a c team league for brahma lodge. Big selling point for brahma lodge would be the ability to play saturday and sunday. Yeah that makes sense. Although i do recall the divisional structure in the ...

Re: SAASL Website & 2010 Fixtures...?

Yeah we at brahma decided to put our previous C grade team in Saturdays due to now having 5 mens teams at the club. With only 1 pitch at our club and 3 C grade teams this was our only option. We were advised as all C grade divs were full, this was the only division available for us to enter a C team ...

Re: Provisional League Structure 2010

tibbaw69, I assumed from "I guarantee you former federation players will play" and your certainty that Pirie will smash everyone in the lower divisons you were from that club. Id be interested to know how you can guarantee who will be playing there for sure if you are not involved with them. Either ...

Re: Provisional League Structure 2010

We all work hard for our respective clubs. Weather your club is one year old or 50 years old, it takes a lot of people a lot of work to run a club. I don't think that anything spoken re Port Pirie has anyone saying that Brahma shouldn't be in there. So whilst I understand where you are coming from ...

Re: Provisional League Structure 2010

My respect is shown by suggesting they shouldn't be in the lower divisions where lopsided results would make the game less fun for all involved. I guarantee you former federation players will play, they're not going to lose their entire squad, that's a ridiculous generalistic statement to suggest ...

Re: Provisional League Structure 2010

This topic is a joke. Pirie will likely go straight up if they retain the same players, starting any lower would have just been an insult to both Pirie and the wannabes in the lower divisions that still try to win. Show some sympathy for a club with a long proud history that is now having to settle ...

You 2 have something in common King Kenny! Barge-arse did his hammy against munno para in the prelim cup round. Did it again as he walked onto the field late in the game against vikings 3 weeks ago. He'll hopefully be right this week. Will be a great addition.

Re: Div 10 is it a over 35's league or not???

Of course, and i'm sure they'd like a crystal ball to forecast which players will get injured/suspended etc within the club too. Maybe clubs should forfiet their A grade games to ensure the over 35's have enough old timers to take the field. I'm not saying its fair, im just explaining that as there ...

Until there is a set rule in place banning under age players, it will keep happeneing. Would you prefer no game at all due to the opposition not having enough players? Not every club is blessed with 5 teams worth of players

I agree with you BPBC, not sure what Jellyfish meant by "dirty tactics", as I said in my previous post, Brahma can play good football but got sidetracked a little on the hard tackles and the refereeing. Its tough to not feel hard done by the ref's at times but as I have always tried to keep my ...
