in my opinion, a soft player is one who wont attack the ball, wont go in with a physical tackle and try to get the ball, but will sit on the outer and wait to see if the ball comes out his way. one who wont chase a ball down, and wont use his body as a barrier between ball and opposition, wont use ...

I was refering to the u14 stade dev squad, it needs to be coached correctly and to be made up of the right boys. I will admit that there are half a dozen great players in there, but the majority are very ordinary and very soft.
