Re: Cup Final Results 2016
As a player involved with the winning side today, I will say that the backchat starts simply because of the incompetence of the referee in charge today. Baffling decision after another. One week this guy can't brandish cards out quick enough and today he let 4-5 late nasty tackles go by the wayside ...

Re: Suarez verdict
Irrelvant? It certainly gives effect to his testimony. He can't figure out if he was called nigger (in a bizarre round-a-bout Italian way) or black in Spanish but can remember verbatim every single word of a conversation? He couldn't even figure out how many times he was called this word but again ...

Re: Suarez verdict
Read the link: 'As the FA report says “The two witnesses who say they heard those words directed by Mr Bethell at Mr Evra are the Manchester United first team coach Mr Mike Phelan and the goalkeeping coach Mr Richard Hartis.” It later goes on to say “Even if we disregard the fact that Mr Evra has nev ...

Re: Suarez verdict
Whether Evra believes the term used was more akin to the word nigger rather than black is surely irrelevant in the context of what was said. I you because you're a nigger is hardly different to saying I hit you because you are black. Also, to clarify, I'm of the belief that Evra has never accused ...

Fair point. Except for the fact that the Cove are probably better than Northampton Town.

I know who played Bomber and please tell me which of those would not be considered part of the first team squad. United played a similar outfit against Rangers in the CL and were panned for drawing 0-0. Why would Liverpool escape derision and criticism for losing to a league two side? Keep your ...

Re: Let's all laugh at liverpooool
So Liverpool reserves lost on penalties. Obviously an important fixture given their starting line up. Never heard of half those guys. Next! Hardly a reserve team, I'd say 80-90% of the starting line-up would be first team squad players. Their inability to beat a League Two side is inexcuseable and ...

The Jews may be fucking up Man United, but Liverpool are a downright shambles. Do they still have the Intertoto Cup, because that's all Liverpool could make this year.

In fairness, Man United were far from the richest club in the world when Alex took over. He also has a few more league titles to his name than alot of other managers. Fair play tho, Milan thoroughly deserved their win (as did Liverpool if I'm honest) and hopefully they can do likewise to your scum ...

My views were merely a light hearted dig at Liverpool's inability to mount any serious title chellenge. They are great at the cups, so good luck to them. They are a cup team now, ala Tottenham almost, although spurs do have a quality striker in Berbatov so maybe that comparison is harsh on Tottenham ...

I'm expecting an entertaining match Whoever said this should be shot. As football365 said, neither team deserved to go through, but unfortunately one had to. As much as I hate Liverpool and its fans, part of me wanted them to win, simply to assist the impending mental breakdown of Moaninho ...

There is another one, a season with Castel Di Sangro, anyone read that? Quality read that, not about football violence, but all the same a very good read. Hard to believe its based on a true story at times, could only happen in Italy. Anyway, think the tie is very evenly poised atm, but if we serve ...

Would be lying if I said that I'm not nervous about tmorrow's game. We have a makeshift defence for starters, we have a poor record against Italian teams overall and our Champs League form so far this year has hardly set the world alight. Not making excuses already, just stating facts. That being ...

Never said Liverpool weren't a great club, because they are . I can see the inference you've made, but the point was that the Glazers are using Man United to make money in the immediate short-term, whereas the two yanks buying Liverpool are planning on building a bigger stadium in order for it to ...

Yeah another fixture isn't good news, but at 2-1 down, I was glad to come away with a replay at old trafford. Fixtures are starting to pile up now and with Saha out, Larsson gone, Solsjakaer, it might be up to the forgotten man Alan Smith to show some of that form he had before his broken leg. Just ...

I'm not putting words in your mouth, you said there was no hard evidence, etc. etc. I think the obvious implication is that there is no proof of actual match fixing, hence it didn't occur. I'm just bantering back mate. I've lived in england for 4 years and seen first hand real hardcore Liverpool supporters try and pass the buck for Heysel, blaming everyone and everything else, but themselves. Hence, i find it ironic, you declaring that "the mancs" as you so eloquently put it, were 100 ...
