What's the point of having matches with no official refs. It's too open to abuse / intimidation..
If there's not enough refs for lower divisions then they should just scrap the lower divisions, makes a mockery of having "fair" matches..

Re: A League Final
I bet Amateur Footy teams don't have games at the same time as the AFL Grand Final..
I just thought that the A-League grand final would be a big deal, as this is a football (soccer) site.., maybe I'm just a traditionalist..
shame..

Re: A League Final
It doesn't affect me by the way as I'm not playing, I just think it's unfair/unsportsmanlike teams not willing to be flexible..

Re: A League Final
I think the least clubs could do if they can't move the day is play the games earlier on the Sunday. If they have A's and B's playing cup rounds at Home on the same day, then start first one at 9.00am, second one at 11.00am. Apart from forcing everyone to get up earlier that day, no other ...

Re: A League Final
Really, for the spirit of the competition/game/togetherness clubs should be willing to be flexible in this special case.. 1) It's a grand final 2) Adelaide United is in it 3) It's the first time they've been in the final for around 10 years 4) Supporters/families have already booked tickets in many ...

Re: A League Final
Not everyone is a Adelaide United supporter so why should they care? They don't postpone all games in London if Spurs are playing. It's an A league grand final. The country's biggest game. No game of soccer should be going ahead at the same time. No matter who you support. But when you are not ...

Can registered players transfer to another club mid season?
Just as the question says, can registered players transfer to another club during the season?
Or do you have to wait until the following season?

Re: More fixture f*** ups
Pitbulls just cant make round 1. Means Angle Vale get a round 1 pass. Rest is a 10 team league and still a bit off. Someone obviously didn't give it much thought and just got something up, which hasn't ended in a good result. Pitbulls still on holiday during round 1?! Looks like the fixtures should ...

Re: More fixture f*** ups
Now there's 18 rounds... but a bye for 1 club first fixture only?! 10 teams by the looks of it, finishing in August?, seems early.
Noticed that Div 3A only has 9 teams, so a bye every round.
Can't they arrange the teams evenly, not that hard surely??

Sat Div 7
No fixtures yet for Sat Div 7 (C).. anyone know when they'll be published?
Last season I was waiting and waiting and our team was in Div 6.. checked all the divisions this year.. but sadly looks like the last minute Div 7 it is.. with trips to middle of nowhere..

Re: Saturday Division 6 League Updated on SAASL looks odd...
So are all 9 (if i've counted correctly) teams in Division 6 all definitely playing?
Last year we were in div 7 and a team pulled out and sometimes we had no games for a month.. don't want the same scenario again. The lower divisions seem very poorly planned every year in this competition.

Ah yes, looked at Div 6, think it's a 9 team league with a 'bye' every week for 1 team + 'bye' for cup rounds = a lot of 'bye's'!
