Re: WNPL Play Off result
Gee "Worthless Gobemouche". Could you make it any more obvious that you used to be involved with Cumberland, most likely as a coach? I love reading this forum as all contributors obviously are interested in the women's game in this state. I am not keen though on all the negative comments that are ...

Re: Round 4 Tips
Cumby 1-3 Uni Cumby probably desperate for a win so if Uni underestimate Cumby could take the points Ctown 0-10 City be no mercy from PP Fulham 1-3 WAH West too strong, Kevs old school long balls won't do so well against the Fulham GK but WA still do enough to win. Inter 1-3 Metro tipped Metro again ...

Re: FFSA Shame -WNPL Competition Relegation
I dont understand the critcism of Salisbury. They have earned the right to go up after winning the state league. Salisbury have recruited arguable the best coach in the whole league, plus top quality goalkeeper and had 2 wins from 3 rounds. Cumberland last year by this round had 2 wins, this year no ...

Westies 8-0 Campbelltown Its going to get ugly. especially with no MJ. Inter 1-3 City City to look comfortable most of the game Cumby 0-3 Fulham Fulham create plenty of chances Metro 2-2 Uni Game of the round, can see this being an even contest WA 5 Campbelltown 0 I think or hoping big Kev won't ...

Metro 2 v WA 1 Metro couldn't play that bad two weeks in a row surely, Metro should lift and love the physical game that WA play. Team list has a couple of players out though for Metro City 4 v Uni 1 Uni terrible last week, Uni defence can't see being fixed in 4 days. City team list looks excellent ...

Re: Clubs That Will Not Meet The Criteria
Seriously who cares ? The criteria is unrealistic, merely an aiming point for clubs for the future.. what would you prefer a 5 team premier league??? Seriously. The changes made to the NPL are exciting and we should be supporting this. After 12 months with the standard of the State Leauge, if you ...

Re: WNPL 2017 - Moves and Shakers
There may still be moves across the Prems teams with players probably checking out other opportunities. Deductions for ??? Westies lost out on a top 4 finals spot last year because of a deduction. Hopes its not a Admin error ? And there others too with pint deductions pending? WOW. Big question is ...

Looking forward to the new season. march 3 or maybe 10th I think I heard for the first game, not long to go. From what I hear it will be the top 5 striving for a finals position. Metro, City, Westies, Fulham and Uni While the bottom 3 will fight off for wooden spoon and relegation Cumby, Inter and ...

Really good result for an away game against a very strong team.
Sounded like both teams had lots of chances from the commentary, could have gone either way.

sign the contract - pull on the shirt - then you are subject to the praise or criticism of PERFORMANCE and RESULTS whether you are 16yo or 36yo IMO. performance on pitch ok, results have been poor. Not much time left to turn things around but been good experience for all those selected and having ...

Re: AUWFC vs Perth Glory
Firstly, everyone new this was going to happen from the time the team were selected. It was a huge farce. I thought you had to earn your stripes to play at an elite level but this is not the case at AUWFC. Not have one trial and your selected, the biggest joke in the history of Women's soccer ...

Well done to Fulham on a deserved victory. Commiserations to Adelaide City. The girls will be gutted after five grand final defeats on the trot. Snow White, I need to correct you. City have lost "Cup Finals" NOT "Grand Finals." With the introduction of Finals this year for the Women's NPL, it is ...

I think I was right. 3-0 was flattering. 4-0 was a trouncing Great comments and from where I sit/stand, city have played their final against Fulham and were lucky to have won. The metro coach walked by and had a wry smile because she knew that whichever team they played they would have the upper ...

Re: WNPL Grand Finals
I think it's this Friday. Reserves at 6 pm and Prems at 8.15 pm Metro look set to win the double. A week's rest for the Prems will see off a city side that had to battle through 90 minutes plus 30 minutes of extra time and the penalties. An early goal to Metro will see city's coach (and the bench ...

Re: Sturt gone in 2017
So Why Sturt Gone? why do you have such an issue with Sturt? Para Hills & Adelaide Uni also joined the league with one less team, so why slander Sturt?? Just yesterday West Adelaide also withdrew a team, so that is 4 WNPL Clubs not submitting a full compliment. So Why Sturt getting a bagging? Big ...

Sturt gone in 2017
Sturt has to be relegated from NPL for 2017 to rebuild in State League. Sturt will again need to fulfill the NPL criteria and as it's clear they deceived their way in with teams they didn't have they now can't be believed when resubmitting for 2017. A fine & points deduction for 2016, which is just ...

Re: NPL points deduction for Sturt - Carter wake up!
The Competitions' Operations Manager should be the one presenting this to the CEO. The CEO is there to run the organisation overall, not to check on every rule. That why there are staff. The Competition staff should be forcing this rule. Well agree with you there! But its been 2 weeks and still no ...

Re: 4 WNPL Teams Failed To Meet The Criteria
I'm not even sure why this is still being debated. Clubs can be angry, aggrieved, whatever word you want to use. The fact is that FFSA aren't going to pull a team and promote another 3 rounds into a season. It won't happen. These clubs (Comets, South etc) are probably better off having this season ...

Hey can someone go in and wake up Michael Carter at his desk pls?! 6 out to training for sturt this week, all be it in the heat (which begs the question why even risk training). Look forward to seeing where the 25 plus players are going to come from in January to make up prems, reserves and 17's let alone other youth teams. 25 players? 3 teams, you mean 35 players ...

Re: Is a Southern Premier league team about to fold?
Talk of a merger between the 2 clubs has been doing the rounds for atleast 4 years...nothing new there. Sturt decided long ago to invest their limited funds into a coach who has failed to deliver and who's game plan revolves around recruiting players from other clubs ( quite a few from Cumberland ...
