Re: SAASL Affiliation to the FFA/FFSA
The disciplinary system with ffsa is a joke and even so not being used by saasl. The refs situation will not change. That's 2 of the 3 reasons you have stated null and void. I haven't seen either of the insurance policies so don't know. Is that insurance even being used? I think the SAASL is ...

Re: SAASL Affiliation to the FFA/FFSA
I think everyone was informed that fees were going up every year for the next 3 years. The 3rd year will see a 50% increase.redfred wrote:Socceroos game may have kept some away.
Nothing will change initially due to fees staying the same for 2 years. Once those years are over watch the fees go through the roof.

Re: SAASL Affiliation to the FFA/FFSA
So apart from paying more money per year to play, getting no access to better refs etc, and oh, letting the big FFSA teams have another game in the ffa cup what did the SAASL gain. For the betterment of the game? Or For the for FFSA clubs. Sounds like horrible negotiations all round. Watch the fees ...

Re: SAASL Affiliation to the FFA/FFSA
According to what we were told, SAASL pay FFSA / FFA $17,500 per year for affiliation, for up to three years - after that – who knows? We were also told that SAASL have some 5,000 players registered, so with the proposed increases in fees it would be fair to say that on top of the $17,500 per year, ...

Re: SAASL Affiliation to the FFA/FFSA
So is it safe to say that there will be no changes in 2018 or will something be worked out? This is Adelaide after all and so here will be no changes the status quo will remain the same as South Australians don't like change It has nothing to do with that. The terms for which the merger is on is ...

After getting the details, this has to be the dumbest proposal i have ever seen. There will be what amounts to approximately 50% increase in player registration fees after 3 years and in return you will get what amounts to..... squat! You cant access our referees, administration or tribunal process ...

Re: One Tree Hill Vs Northern Wolves... All in brawl
As a club we have decided that it is not in our interest to put our players, officials and supporters at risk of injury, abuse or threats from the Northern Wolves club and therefore forfeit our games this weekend. In light of the previous incident earlier this season where Northern Wolves caused ...

We played them at their ground, in The A's one of their players called a Grove player a White Dog, referee heard it and sent him off for his racist remark, they didn't like the decision so they all stormed off, the referee called the game as there wasn't much time left. As we were about to leave ...

Re: Can you still sign players?
This may seem a silly question but what is behind the rule of not allowing players to switch teams after the 30th of June? $'s - leagues have to know which clubs have to be charged for player registrations so there has to be a line in the sand for that to happen. Thanks Mr Red. Is this still ...

Re: One Tree Hill Vs Northern Wolves... All in brawl
Nothin in the game had built up to that, it literally blew up from nothing. Even after the fight their coach blamed the ref for what happened, nothing to do with OTH So nothing happened. A guys gets 'king-hit' and its the ref's fault. Did I miss something. Once again, to be clear; I am not taking ...

Re: Teams folding and forfeiting
Just to confirm, TVSC are not folding, yes we have forfeited this week due to a massive injury list and overseas trips, however we did ask Northern Wolves if they would like to reschedule and they decided to take the 3 points. Furthermore SAASL were informed that we (TVSC) were struggling to fill 2 ...

All clubs simply refuse to play them, easy. If the SAASL wont act maybe the clubs should, it's not hard. Who cares if they win a league by it and get promoted.

Re: Another cluster shiraz with the League.
This issue here is (unless I'm mistaken) that none of the divisions are officially 2 team divisions. You could go all the way to division 1 and only have 1 side. So that means that you should be promoting the best teams each time. That unfortunately means that in some years the divisions will be ...

M U Stars pulling their B grade is a rumour I heard at the league meeting last week. I hope its not true but its what they did last year in Div 4. Think TV have lost a heap of players which is unfortunate and difficult for the league to deal with as they were in Div 2 last year and have been ...
