Re: Dark Day for Vista
Div 1 Amateurs should just become SL3 and have promotion and relegation through all the divisions. Can't happen though until SAASL come fully on board with FFSA, which I for one hope never happens. I have a lot more faith in SAASL to run anything than I do the FFSA. Sunday Div 1 Amateurs are a far ...

Re: Dark Day for Vista
top half of SL2 is fine and would be competitive with the top few amateur sides. There is a bit of a gulf towards the bottom tho. saasl may drop back a bit this year with all the defections to SL teams. Vista will get better over time. Not sure about some other SL2 sides tho. Vista have a lot of ...

Re: Dark Day for Vista
They were well and truly beaten by a very poor Uni SA side Friday. The Vista amateurs of a couple years ago were hands down a better side than the SL2 team. Considering when they started it was made up of quite a few ex amateur C team lads.
I watched last week's game and it was a few ...

Re: Dark Day for Vista
they are not dead in fact they have gone up in the stakes by going feds so good for them. Gone up in the stakes by fielding a SL2 team that is so far away from being competitive. How is that going up? What I've seen of the SL 2 team they have some good players but the team is lacking finishing ...

has there ever been such an exit of players in 1 season. it appears there are numerous sunday div 1 sides with multiple exits. could this even up the competition and give someone new an opportunity of silverware? Look forward to see squads pre season comp time. I have followed the amateur league ...

In my opinion J Noel was the stand out player in the league but missed a few games and finished second in the vote count. Further to the above quote a further outcome was that 2 players from the bottom team finished in the top 6 of the league votes.
Im pretty sure stoneham missed 5 or 6 ...

Re: Best Player Awards
SUNDAY DIV 1 Won by Tom Stoneham from Salis Florina. So the center back of the team that finished bottom and had the second worst goal difference in the league won the best player. Are they paying ref's in meth these days? Very strange outcome but congratulations to the lad! In my opinion J Noel ...

Im sorry but if that player tells me he was clipped or tripped inside the penalty box then I will have to believe him and he is even well known to some of the TTG players that can vouch for his honesty and integrity.Onefortheroad wrote:I guess we have to agree to disagree.

disappointed with the referee standard again in the PHE v TTG - he must had issued about 10 - 12 yellow cards and missed a penalty when PHE player was fouled in the penalty box in the 2nd half - makes the game so frustrating …………………………….
