Re: CSL & SAASL Results - Sat 27 and Sun 28 April
Ressies Seaford 5 - 4 Knights First Team Seaford 3 - 2 Knights Both very competitive games. Thought the ressies game could've gone either way but thought we dominated the first team team game. Good luck to Knights for the remainder of their fixtures until we meet each other again. I think the 2 ...

Re: Dark Day for Vista
top half of SL2 is fine and would be competitive with the top few amateur sides. There is a bit of a gulf towards the bottom tho. saasl may drop back a bit this year with all the defections to SL teams. Vista will get better over time. Not sure about some other SL2 sides tho. Agreed, I think the ...

He was at Para Hills East a few years ago, coached their B's - did well won the League and got to the Cup Final I believe but got his 'jotters' not sure why
Then coached at Prince Alfred College, First Team, unfortunately got relegated - having said that, they moved up a Division the year before

Re: 200,000 sign petition to review England, Columbia Match
The only difference between this world cup campaign and the 'usual' England campaign is, that they normally talk themselves up before hand and then crash and burn. This time they were very modest in their approach (despite having the easiest group in the history of the world cup) only to get carried ...

Re: 2018 League Champions
Ghan beat Pontians and officially promoted into Sunday Div 1, will be interesting to see how they get along. In a playing sense probably quite well. Also I'd say that we had no trouble with Ghan this year - they won the first game, we won the second, they seemed to have improved a lot Having said ...

Re: SAASL Affiliation to the FFA/FFSA
Responsible fiscal management is becoming necessary for all amateur clubs and we have seen several fall over unfortunately due to rising costs. It might sound harsh or even simplistic, but can't help but feel that maybe there are too many clubs for the demographics here anyway, ie "law of jungle ...

Re: Matches with no official refs
What's the point of having matches with no official refs. It's too open to abuse / intimidation.. If there's not enough refs for lower divisions then they should just scrap the lower divisions, makes a mockery of having "fair" matches.. At the end of the day, most of us play for fun. There are some ...

I was 100% against Qatar getting the World Cup, was there yesterday on the way back from Europe and it was 40c at 7am. Further proves how totally corrupt the whole process was (is) as they didn't put changing the dates into their original bid, but the dates need to change based on the weather ...
