Sunday Div 1 going down to the wire this season.
Downs slipped up over the weekend and with the 3-point deduction they've received it's now very tight at the top.

New season starts in just over a week - predictions?
Champions = Man City
Top 4 = (no particular order) Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs
Relegated = (no particular order) Ipswich, Forest, Brentford

Re: Euro 2024
Tournament football doesn't require having to actually play well.
No doubt you need a bit of luck but you still have to get the results that matter.
Credit to England for making another final.

The ultimate paradox for a spurs fan:
Support your team to get a result against Man City or support Man City against your team to prevent your rivals (potentially) winning the league?

India v England
Looking forward to watching this series.
Play will generally start between 2.30-3pm each day for us which is good.
It will be interesting to see how the 2nd and 3rd ranked Test nations play against each other especially given conditions in India.
I'm predicting 3-1 to India

Good to hear the Luton captain is going ok after his medical episode over the weekend.

Re: ODI cricket world cup
India deserve it, have played well all-round. That said, whilst you're in it, you're a chance. Gut feeling that Saffers might get up tonight, but hope I'm wrong. Good thing you were wrong. India should be red-hot favourites but in a Final - anything can happen! Surprising that this could be the 4th ...

Don't mind the format they're running with but they need to be playing 2 games a day to get the tourney over in a month. We're not even halfway through yet and it feels like it's really dragging along. Clearly there are 3 good teams and then the rest - Australia have found some form but England are ...

Re: ODI cricket world cup
Well the Aussie's latest "warm up" games do make for interesting discussions. Blowing a 2-0 series lead in South Africa followed by a couple thumpings in India could mean one of two things. It's all a big ruse to get some teams into a false sense of security against us, OR we are just slowly ...
