Re: Penalising Juventus

We’ve only received one spot-kick this season Since when has there been a quota on how many penalties you should receive in a season? Very true, I believe that this is something a coach shouldn't worry about. However if you read the article, his comments are in relation to how many Juve has r ...

Re: Penalising Juventus

You hit the nail on the head there Juventino, we enjoy majority of the possession, something like 70%. As a result we spend extended periods of time in the opposition's half, they set up majority of the team behind the ball and we struggle to break them down. Although we have a lot of shots on goal ...

Re: Serie A round 12

The bottom line is some of the refereeing this year in Serie A has been a little questionable to say the least, I don't think it has favoured one particular team though. Granted Juve's penalty against Cesena was non existent, I can't even imagine what the ref thought he saw. As for the Napoli fans ...

Re: Juventus Transfer Campaign

Grygera released on a free. He is expected to join Fulham. Elia has had his medical, so he should join shortly, reportedly for 10mil Euros. A few weeks ago Juve wasn't a big enough club for him, the bottle of shiraz wanker. I agree it is a little unnerving having someone sign for your club that ...

Re: Juventus Transfer Campaign

Bocchetti could arrive. I thought that Napoli were close to signing him to cover the loss of Britos? Anyway if there is truth to this rumour I can see Marotta doing something along the lines of a Pepe & Bonucci swap for Bocchetti & Alves. I don't know how Marotta and Co. could consider Bocchetti a ...

Re: Juventus Transfer Campaign

Totally unconvinced by these two left wing signings, Giaccherini for me is decent but is a little unproven still, although his performances against the big teams last season were encouraging i'm interested in how he would play week in week out. It seems also a waste of money when we had giovinco ...

I have my star at the stadium and will be attending in October this year. What section did you get? I need to get some funds together and get my star too. Next to Baggio, I think his star is in the North section. I just completed the purchase of my star over the weekend....south deck next to Nedved ...

Re: Juventus Transfer Campaign

From the latest reports I can't see us signing a star attacker, it seems as though we are going to be screwed and all because Marotta has deliberated (we could have signed Rossi on a pre-contract in winter before he penned a new deal). Aguero's pending move to City means Ath Madrid is looking for a ...

Re: Juve's Probable Starting 11 for 2011-2012

It looks to be a very competitive squad for the up and coming season. Still need a left sided midfielder and whilst Marotta likes Bastos, reports suggest Conte isn't convinced. The latest story to arise is that Marotta is looking to swap Bonucci with Vargas and bring in Kjaer as a replacement. Not ...

Juve's €35m Aguero bid rejected Spanish sources report Atletico Madrid have rejected a €35m Juventus offer for Sergio Aguero. According to As newspaper, the Bianconeri bid €32m cash plus ownership of midfielder Tiago Mendes. It’s a long way off his €45m buy-out clause and the sum Real Madrid are rep ...

Re: Juventus Transfer Campaign

True, but if Bastos wants Juve as much as he says, then he'll give that bid as much of a chance as possible. Interesting that Conte mentioned Marchisio when talking about Pirlo in his press conference. Could that be his centre of midfield next season? I think the formula we had for the CM's this ...

Re: Juventus Transfer Campaign

Agree I can definetely see Aquilani in Milan colours next year, especially if we get Inler. He would jump at the chance to join them ahead of returning to England, he has made it quite clear that he prefers Italy, not only on a professional level but also a personal one. Also Michel Bastos' agent ...

My understanding is that we can only buy one non eu player per season, correct me if i'm wrong but wouldn't bastos, tevez and aguero all fit into this category. If this is the case it can only be one and as I've said in earlier posts we should have stitched up Rossi before he signed a new deal ...

Napoli’s Michele Pazienza is on the verge of becoming Juventus’ third signing ahead of the 2011-12 campaign. The Old Lady have already netted Andrea Pirlo from Milan and Sampdoria’s Reto Ziegler on free transfers this week. Now Juve are expected to complete their hat-trick of Bosmans with Pazienza w ...

Just my opinion but wouldn't it better served judging a best XI based on a player's effectiveness and contribution to his teams cause, if not you may as well name the best club team in Europe...Man Utd or Barcelona? With that in mind ------------------Neuer------------------------ Dani Alves ...

Re: Juventus Transfer Campaign

I forgot to add in my previous post that Juve should take a look at some of Sampdoria's players, even though relegated they still have quality across the pitch. Their relegation could mean a possible cut price, the likes of Gastaldello, Poli, Palombo, Ziegler would all be handy. However it seems as ...

Re: Juventus Transfer Campaign

It's definitely not a good thing changing the coach every year, but it seems the be a very common trend accross Europe, coaches stays on the bench are becoming shorter and shorter as the massive amount of money that is invested in the team increases the pressure on the coach to perform, after all it ...

Giovinco's agent said there is no truth to the Napoli rumours. After everything he's said I don't think he would want to come back, but money talks as does the chance of Europe. Ariaudo is 100% owned by Cagliari now. The 2.5mil to sign Matri on loan was done by giving them the other half of Ariaudo ...

Re: An Outsider Looks at Juventus

Good to see De Ceglie back, hopefully he can help with what has been a very problematic area for us. However I still can't believe we let Criscito go, even though in the end it helped us sign Bonucci Although it is mathematically still possible for us to reach a Champions League spot I think we ...

Re: An Outsider Looks at Juventus

There is no doubt that we are in need of at least four quality players to compete for the scudetto and a champions league place next year. But if Del Neri remains we will again buy to suit his rigid 4-4-2 system, which I still maintain isn't the best for Juve. But if thats the way they go probably ...

Re: An Outsider Looks at Juventus

It is hard to believe that we have continued to decline in such a fashion since we returned from Serie B, I think that our tendecy to get rid of trainers prematurely is suprising considering the average life spans of coaches pre calciopoli. Also I don't believe the current playing group is as good ...
