Re: Revamp of comp - 2025

I have never been a fan of trials but I do understand why clubs need them. But I have heard a club calling a parent whose kid made it at another club and paid their deposit to come over to their club, even offered the parent to reimburse them the deposit.!! WOW, for juniors!!! We lost two players ...

Re: 2024 Coaches

If clubs allow underperforming or incompetent coaches to continue, they suffer relegation consequences. If the club management is not strong-willed enough to remove that underperforming coach, they should remove themselves and let others step in to run clubs professionally. If players (e.g. JJ) are ...

Re: 2024 Coaches

So what should South do? Coach isn't to standard, JJ their best player. Is Club leadership in charge, or are Rideouts in charge? A good test for South, however suspect they won't do a thing. JJ will.leave EOY if they get relegated, however is it worth losing a season when strong leadership could ...

Re: What is happening at Metrostars

Im happy to see the back of some people, who decided to leave, bag the club, but yet were happy taking lots of money to be development coaches etc at the club over the years. The club will be fine, and going into a direction of younger players in U18s and Reserves is the best step right now. Your ...

Re: What is happening at Metrostars

What is going on at Metrostars with their Juniors. This season their U17 JPL did league and cup double and their U15 JPL did league and cup double. But hearing stories of lots of these players all leaving the club. Must be serious if they can not keep this talent at the club. How are things going ...

Pretty sure they haven't replaced him, he's just stepped into another role.

In the local league forum, someone posted that junior fees for under 6 are $1035. It was posted in a topic concerning metrostars players re-signing. I guess this is what metro charges? As a matter of interest, on average, what to other clubs charge? When people like yourself gazza stopped ...

Re: Greek background clubs not got the finals metal?

West Adelaide went from state league to premier league. Made the Prelimary Final. Lost in the lottery. And were Fed Cup runners up. That is pretty impressive and no way a failure. Others clubs have been in the Premier League for years and have not been able to have a result like that in one season ...

Shocking if True.

Just heard that Metrostars Under 17s have departed the Club as a unit. Apparently, a couple of neighbouring Clubs, taking advantage of the Metro Cup fiasco, to convince most of the lads to move. If this is true, as code, we need to be ashamed of ourselves. I'd be interested on the opinion of Sulmona ...

Toros are now offering a non fees opportunity.
So there's a real choice.
$ 0 TO $ 1000.
Chose the fee structure and stop complaining.

I'm sure they will. Croydon together with Para Hills, ABE and CCSC, is one of the only four Clubs who believe in development ahead of winning.

Re: Serie A round 6

Also even after inter went 1-0 down and a man down as well, they lost it. The way they responded wasn't the refs fault. Plenty of teams have come from that exact position and won the game, they wouldn't have been the first. That sort of decision makes stronger teams rally and dig in their heels ...
