It's all about formation 4-3-3 and playing out the back. Not about winning..

Re: National age championships and player development
Never said to woof the ball long, don't approve of that. Need to teach kids the third pass must cross the half way line on the ground to a flanker or attacker, not from Gk to left back , back to GK , the to right back then back to GK who gives it to a midfield under pressure(who never wanted it ...

Re: National age championships and player development
Scoring goals is what the game is about, and keeping the opponent pinned in there half by having your centre halves carry the ball into there half. Not pinning yourself into your own half passing the ball around. You have to be the best teams in the world play out the back (Dutch and Spain) and take ...

Re: National age championships and player development
World Cup Statistics: 85% of goals scored from less than 4 passes, of them, 55% from less than 2 passes(set plays). possession/passing/controlling is great up to an age ( even the chubby kids are good at that), you need lots of speed of brain and foot, endurance and great vision as a player. And ...

Did SA go to win the comp or show how they can string 20 passes together before crossing the half way line.

Re: New Junior Structure 2014
That's enormous pressure for the senior coach, imagine being responsible for relegating a whole club. The exodus of juniors to other clubs would be a like bank run in Greece. Could you imaging doing the double in the U13's (cup and title) and then been relegated, Or playing C division one year then ...

This kid (allegedly)drove off at the end of the game after playing in the u15 cup game. If true, this player played under another name , probably under his brothers/cousins friend FFSA number/ID/name . Has nothing to do with his intellect or size/height/beard/colour/race... By the way I teach NAP ...

This is a topic about a kid playing an U15 cup game and driving off at the end. Not about how they are given aussie birth certificate and documents.

The saddest part (or maybe not) is those 9 kids have more opportunity to go pro than the 50 odd others, so who are the fools, us at $500-$700 reg or them at $50-$100 reg? = Pro is not the reason kids play sport and shouldn't be. :clown: = Parents dream of child playing Pro, this whole reason ...

Re: Junior Player Rego Cards
Kids sport, no need to cheat , including lines people , coaches and parents. Also, interchange in use, therefore all players should get an reasonable run. Coaches that give kids little to no time in a game should be removed from thier role. You pick kids at trial to play them not bench warm them ...

Re: MODBURY THROUGH TO SEMI FINALS
All I want to know, does/did the player in question know it was an U15 carnival? If he didn't that's BS and if he did "That's selfish and cheating". Children are quite intelligent by 14 years of age and they know right from wrong. Most would be year 9 at High school. What about the Coach, his ...

Re: another question re coaches
As early as 4 years of age- 10hrs a week at home will teach them plenty. Private practice early with a willing parent will go a long way. When you as a parent are responsible , you is who the child will listen to early and admire as his/her super parent. One on One with parent and child is priceless ...
