So let's stop trying to blame the referee who would have had to cancel the game if an alternative strip could not be found. The only blame here ...

Re: "C+" team Cup Competition?
These are the reasons that I feel that a C Team cup is not a viable option. Grounds that are shared with Junior clubs will not be available for a 10.15 kick off. Three away games in the same round will stretch the resources of a lot of clubs. As previously stated, if all three clubs remain in the ...

Re: Is this unfair?
There is no law that says you have to call a name. Like GIAE said it comes under the "unsporting behaviour" (free kick and booking) if you shout mine to deceive an opponent. If you cannot understand a word the opposition is saying how can they possibly be guilty of any deception. Unless your team ...

Red Devil, he can only becomes cup tied for the reserves. Any reserve player can go up, but none may back down to the reserves (cup team) unless it was the reserve goal keeper who wasn't required to be subbed on, all other substitutes named on the card become cup tied for the reserve team.

Re: Want to start a referee career?
Good to see guys like Branch French out there refereeing that have played the game... We need more. The main stumbling block as I se it with getting former players becoming referee's is the emergence of the 0/35 and Masters leagues. As long as players can still play and be competetive they are not ...

Re: Want to start a referee career?
One of the main problems we have in the SAASL is that players think that they are a whole lot better than they really are, and continue to expect to be refereed by World Cup standard referees. If you want a better referee go and play a higher level rather than constantly gripe. For those referees ...
