Re: Rangers v Celtic

I'm genuinely happy that teams like Dundee can give Celtic and Rangers a game now and again- then again most teams at home can give Rangers a game! As for my team- I expect them to get stronger during this transfer window and securing the services of Kieran Tierney would be an excellent ...

Re: Rangers v Celtic

I bet you wished you hadn't now. Well, I didn't see that coming. Rangers shellacked Celtic in every aspect of the game. I watched it until goal 3 and expected to wake up another goal or 2 to the bad. Rangers deserved to win 5:0 at least. but we are still 11 points up and +24 goal ...

Celtic won, Aberdeen got hammered, Sevco lost... what a christmas ! Almost same again, as Celtic won, Aberdeen lost to a stoppage time goal and sevco dropped more points. Aberdeen certainly falling off the perch lately/ The next big dance later this week at Sevco's ground on Friday morning should ...

Re: UEFA Champions League 24/25

Celtic got a decent result with the 1-1 draw v Club Brugge after trailing to a crazy own goal by Carter-Vickers. Many will say it is points dropped at home, but in my book it could prove to be a valuable point in their quest to qualify to the next phase of the competition. By all reports, Club ...

Re: Rangers v Celtic

Guess who for League cup Final. 200 (8).gif We certainly have and hopefully 'normal service' resumes. Not many will give Rangers much of a chance, the die-hard blue noses included. That said, it's a final and anything can happen. Rodgers will be hopeful of extending his excellent record against ...

Aberdeen proving the real thing Aberdeen 2:1 Rangers Predicted that very score line as Rangers are very average, though they did improve the second half going by reports. As for Aberdeen- great they are mounting a challenge to Celtic but surely injuries and suspensions will see them drop off. I don ...

Good result last night/this morning. Missing GIAE comments on here though. https://youtu.be/ptGRflXTrQA Yes, Celtic started slowly and Motherwell unlucky not to lead before Celtic hit the front. Luke McCowan looks like he is going to be a player for Celtic, always satisfying when a home grown ...

Re: UEFA Champions League 24/25

Gutsy performance by Celtic away to Atalanta to earn a 0-0 draw. Wouldn't think many people would have expected that result (myself included). Four points from three games is pretty decent but let's not get carried away. Biggest plus for me was that Rodgers took heed of the mauling by Dortmund and ...

Re: Rangers v Celtic

Aberdeen is proving very resilient atm. Even after going 2-0 down at Celtic Park. Went to bed at half-time last night with my team 2-0 up and heading for a fairly straight-forward victory (or so I thought). Celtic could have and should have put the game to bed before my head hit the pillow but ...

Re: UEFA Champions League 24/25

It's still a joke that you can waltz into this league when we beat you home and away and still have to go through a host of qualifying rounds. I wholeheartedly agree with you- but I don't make the rules up or the coefficient of each country competing in the European club competitions. ;-) Some big ...

Re: UEFA Champions League 24/25

Fun fact Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has also trusted in Sterling for their first Champions League match of the season away at Atalanta, bringing him on in the second half of the goalless draw. And by stepping onto the pitch on 72 minutes at the Gewiss Stadium, the 29-year-old has achieved a feat ...

What a result and atmosphere. 3 great goals. McGregor's goal brilliant. I loved Bernado's game as well. About the streaming links eagleboy- I used to be able to get them on footybite up to the end of last season, but this season it has not been possible. Looks like they have put some type of blocker on it. If I have any joy I will send you a post. ;-)

Re: Rangers v Celtic

First Celtic v Rangers game of the season at Celtic Park today with 12.30pm kick off UK time. Just can't see past Celtic not winning but I don't think it will be a cricket score as some are suggesting. Rodgers has a brilliant record against them and Celtic should be good enough to take all three ...

If reports are true, looks like Celtic's O'Riley is on his way to Brighton for around 25 million. Inevitable that he was going to move on and I wish him all the best, he has been a fantastic player for us. Means we have a massive hole to fill in midfield plus another left back required plus another ...

Quiet on the transfer front atm.2 goalkeepers and Bernardo. More outgoings than coming in. Agreed, though keeping O'Riley is very important for the coming season, particularly if Celtic have a hope of competing in Europe. Kuhn could play a big part this season up front, but we do need a physical ...

Fair enough eagleboy- we all have different reasons for supporting who we follow. Life as a Catholic in Scotland in the 60's and 70's ...

Not the best match but the result is what counts. Does anyone know why VAR dismissed the Rangers HB in the first half.? I see that Philippe Clement is whinging about everything. What a knob. Can't deny that Celtic were well below par and had to battle all the way. The penalty shout for handball ...
