Re: SBS World Cup Coverage

SBS HD Live? HD? It looks more like YouTube at times, it's so compressed. Do SBS get squeezed with the bandwidth?

Re: England vs USA..............4am sunday...

It's funny isn't it. If that deflection onto the woodwork had gone in off it would have been blunder number two. Fine margins. Overall a disappointing performance and result but England should still qualify. Of more concern is King's injury. Carragher looked very slow and vulnerable. Sure, tonight ...

Re: Financial Fair Play System

Benefactors are allowed to contribute up to a maximum of 45 million euros for the 2013-14 and 2014-15 seasons together. This will be reduced to 30 million euros for the period covering 2015-16, 2016-17 and 2017-18. That's still a lot of money. Won't stop lower league clubs living off benefactors ...

It's not looking good for the Super Eagles! 1-0.

Good to see Veron playing. Old guys do have their uses on a pitch!

Re: Kalac: No Viduka, no chance success in South Africa

What a great attitude he has. How does saying that help get the nation get behind them or promote football in general? Why did the Socceroos even bother going to South Africa? Upsets don't happen in football. Oh no...

Re: Group B: Argentina v Nigeria

I'm really unsure. Nigeria could come out and boss the game with their pace and power. I can't see Maradona's lot reacting well to that and their recent defensive record suggests they aren't too difficult to break down. But if Nigeria allow Argentina to get comfortable on the ball then there'll only ...

Epic fail

He certainly didn't think that one through (something I'm prone to do to be fair)... Just before the penalties, sub on your third choice keeper, thus potentially disadvantaging yourself immediately by having an inferior keeper. Then get him sent off if it comes round to him having a kick, despite ...

Re: STAG, THE DUKE, THE CASINO

Will the casino be relaxing its dress codes then? Will we be able to get into these venues with football shirts on?

Also (I'm fairly new here) how busy do you reckon they'll be? Is it wise to rock up early?

Cheers!
