Re: FFSA Skill Acquisition Program and Development Pathway 1

I'm new to SA but frequently told to look outside the state for junior development. We know some uncoordinated kids selected for the next SAP intake, even they themselves can't believe it. Although ready, our son is not eligible for SAP until next year and be it the rigid age criteria or politics ...

Re: MODBURY THROUGH TO SEMI FINALS

Just out of interest did you all know that in the UK the change over date for junior age groups is September 1st ie some one born on 1 /12/1997 would be eligible to play for man uniteds current under 15 squad! Different countries all have different dates for age qualification, so ultimately in ...

Not sure if many are aware of this but the current NTC side playing in the U18 comp would have been age eligible to have completed in this years Manchester cup. Not saying that it should have happened just noting that these players would have eligible :) So what is your point?? That there is at ...

Re: Personal coaching

Kevin I understand that you want your son to enjoy himself, and as he is only age of 9- 10 years this is very important. Our experience was that we let our son play with his mates at school as federation was not right for him at this stage. ( he was a late bloomer.) he enjoyed this and was ready to ...

I must admit I'm very skeptical when somebody touts a youngster as a "promising talent". Majority of the time the lad has 1 of 2 things; Pace or Strength (sometimes both). Physical attributes help a lot of kids dominate are youth level, but find themselves technically exposed one they reach 16-17 ...

Seniors now includes U18's... (and at some clubs Reserves are effectively U20's) many of these players will be the better 15.16 and 17 year olds that are around!

Re: National Youth Championship - Coffs Harbour

Hmm.. NSW Metro..Always a strong team due to population...
Vic Metro will be interesting.. I see they lost to W.A.. That would have been a big upset;)
Last year Victoria Metro were undefeated at the Nationals in this age group but had the title given to NSW Metro after bonus points were awarded.
