Re: The Matildas

I'd be disappointed if they included a South Australian just to make up the numbers and state that we were represented as a state. Would hope they best players were sellected to represent the national team at all levels.

It seems like the North Americans continue to do this to the POMS, didn't the Yanks beat England 1-0 in the world cup once, back in the 1950's or something?

For all you Chelsea Fans

Taken from Chelseafc website It’s been three days that have past since we lost at Old Trafford and I still feel gutted to be honest. Isn’t it strange how as time passes, one minute you feel really frustrated because we all know we had the run of form and momentum and should have gone there and tak ...

Re: Bin Hamman running for FIFA Presidency?

He may be as dodgy as a 3 bob bit, as are half of the others in FIFA but he is going to need more than half to get the job. There MAY still be enough men of integrity involved to stop him.

I still think Sepp will have the final say in who his successor will be.

The Special One

Assuming [and it's a safe assumption me thinks] that Chelsea might not win the Champions League and Carlo gets the flick, what are the odds that the 'Special One' makes his return to the Bridge.

Truly the second coming!!

Re: Bin Hamman running for FIFA Presidency?

Not quite the done deal everyone thinks it is. Bin Hamman doesn't have the support from the European countries, only half of the Asian countries, maybe the Africans and maybe half of the America's. If Sepp chooses not to run I'd back the man he nominates to get the job..............be it the ...

Re: Australia vs Uzbekistan

Not a bad result. Considering some pundits were suggesting that the Uzbeks would be more than a match for us. The unfortunate thing about winning so BIG is that the next game some of us supporters will go into it with a level of expectation not fitting of a final. I think the main stream media will ...

We have height, too bad Kennedy is out. Would be perfect for him tonight to win crosses in the box. Cahill though not really tall, can leap like a kangaroo and score some headers though :D For a little bloke he seems to be able to out jump some pretty tall and savy defenders in the EPL.
