Many good pitches out there and a few bad ones too and some short and narrow pitches which are difficult to play on when used to full size pitches. But must say Lion's pitch at Grange is a nice surface to play on. And when it's sunny and no wind means excellent playing conditions for both teams.

Must say tough pitch to play on at comets.. Doesn't suit our game at all Lion like to pass it around but was a small pitch and bumpy... We played ok just had no luck today... I think if your over 35 you don't have to run lap after lap and plus i'm a goalkeeper different type of fitness required.

see other people know more about lion than the players do, new club for me maybe will be hard leaving lion though been there since i was 14. Great bunch of boys at lion and great mates made over the years.

Yes lower ranked teams in fed but a full strength downs or florina,farm and also villa on there day could match a few top teams maybe not beat but be very competitive.

I have watched a few fed games and played div 1 sun for the last 5 or so years with Lion and i think we would match and beat alot of the fed teams maybe not fitness but experience and skill.
What are your thoughts on this?
