Re: Swearing on the field

uses offensive or insulting or abusive language and/or gestures Unfortunately what is considered offensive is open to interpretation. Quite right....but the rules are the rules and so if people don't want to get either a yellow or red card button up or practise a word that is acceptable....it's not ...

Re: bad sportmanship

I had a similar experience with an opposition player a few years ago, in fact he went one step further by spitting in his hand and then shaking hands, I spoke to his coach about it and the child was taken aside , reminded of his attitude failings and was made to clean his hand and shake hands with ...

the West Adelaide lad (no I wont say the number) who walked off after the game without shaking hands with the opposition - young man it doesn't matter how angry you are with yourself or how disappointed with your team's effort - that behaviour shows you're not a disciplined player and it's ...

Re: Best Junior Coach?

This is not for the best junior coach but certainly worth a mention. At the U15 game I was at yesterday (cup round) 1 being an "A" team and the other a "B" team. The "A's" being a much stronger side then the "B's". A spectator asked the linesman what the score was so far and the reply was alot to 1 ...

bad language with junior grades

I have just come back from watching an U15 game where ( in my opinion) I believe the referee should have picked up on the language that was being used. I don't think it's a very good look to the clubs when this age group continually uses bad language on the field. I know it's through frustration but ...
