Re: mrandmrsm

I was at the game - with AC . It was a good game and the croydon boys played well and deserved the win. Carry on about overaged players is crap. I dont believe anyone is that desperate to win a game in junior games - and if they are they should be ashamed. Wanna bet? I'm all for junior development ...

Re: get a grip!

I'll go for 12-13 Traditionally this is when players used to go to federation clubs and enter the phase into senior football. Maybe that's what has changed, federation clubs taking on junior teams under the age of 14 as I think that was the age group they used to start at, maybe that's why we've ...

Re: get a grip!

I totally agree nice one, too many coaches get way ahead of themselves and lose sight of the main objective in younger age groups and that is and most importantly to have fun and secondly to learn, and I'm not talking about systems etc but the basics. How to pass properly (both feet) head the ball ...

Re: Juniors cheating to win

I play for Adelaide city under 15s. When we played on the weekend two of our players told the coach they would be away and a further 2 were sick so he asked 2 players that he coached last year to play down with us. For the match we had 13 players, 3 braught down. That isnt cheating its called not ...

Unless they played unregistered or overage players, no cheating was involved. Whether their team selection was made in the overall spirit of the game is another matter, but you should choose your words more carefully.

Some of the excises being thrown about by some forumites though are pretty lame, they cheated ...

Juniors cheating to win

I popped down Ad City junior ground last night and watched a junior game between Para Hills and Ad City, I'm pretty impartial when it comes to junior football but found myself really getting involved in the game which went right to the wire with Ad City winning 3-2 with a last minute penalty and had ...
