Marcello at His Finest!

Leading gay rights group rebuked national team coach Marcello Lippi on Wednesday for saying he'd never allow openly homosexual players to play for Italy because it would create scandal. Lippi's remarks came amid a wave of anti-gay violence in Rome, including a violent attack against a gay couple ...

Re: Stepney

Windsor Gardens ICA is soo much better. I played at Stepney last year and there really is no room to move on playing on only one pitch whereas WG is played on two. Also if the ball hits the roof at Stepney it is a free (possibly worst rule apart from Brahma Lodge? i think or another ICA where the ...

Re: Where were you?

And second no i am not looking for sympathy, it was a simple question to see what happened on Sunday. You got it in the very first response: Other team didn't show up. Afer 1/2 hour, was declared a walkover and game went to Siera Stars. Didn't really answer MY question tho.. I asked where they were ...

Re: Where were you?

This just in, apparently the game did get moved to another location: Woodville High.

We were never notified of this change and now the league wants us to pay a forfeit fee, can you say dreeeeeaming!

Coach is speaking to the league tomorrow.

Re: Where were you?

Or perhaps you are in fact looking for sympathy and any excuse to slag the SAASL, referees and your opposition? If you are then you have come to the wrong place. First of that's pretty funny seeing every second thread on here is about people complaining about the SAASL or the standard of refereeing ...

Re: Where were you?

I am sorry to say this but you are an idiot! In your opinion. I've been around this league for a while and I doubt anyone would agree. I'm with you Rob. My recollection of Rob Lozza is he is a very good, fair ref and also a decent bloke to chat with after the game. I am sure he is but back to ...

Rob Lozza wrote: The opposition would not have given you a thing - all information comes from the league and that provided to the referee, your club would have got it as well. So where were you? Poor admin on your club's part.

Re: Where were you?

As someone from your club had signed the team sheet, this means you confirmed receipt of the passes so clearly you lost them after the game. Otherwise the referee would not have been able to retain passes for the three players who got sent off and forwarded them to the league with send off reports ...

Re: MC Woodpeckers Pitch

heard 2 RUMOURS. 1. they are folding hence the goals are down and they forfeited last week. 2. goals down temporarily and they forefieted last week because they lost all the passes. Ok firstly the club is not folding. The goals are down because the school also play football on the ground hence the ...
