Re: FFSA v SAASL: Where to from here?

maybe im ill informed but here goes, most have some or a lot of experience in football over the years, some have been very involved with running clubs and football as VOLUNTEERS ! I'm trying to point out there is some good years of football knowledge on the board. President Mr Rauf Soulio, - has had ...

Re: FFSA v SAASL: Where to from here?

What a joke you think those paid business professionals are better than our proud volunteers, Uhm... not a fan of either but isnt it the volunteers and clubs that screwed the whole thing up and the reason why ffa jumped with the crawford report showing volunteers only had their interests at heart ...

Washed out for south under 12, supposedly 100+ boys out their. Does that mean there are 15 teams down South, seeing each club could only send out 7 players ?? Each club could nominate 10 x U12s and an additional 3 x 1999 born who were also trialling for U12's. Total of 13 from each club ...

oh cry cry ... italy get easy groups, what a load of crap ! i take it when engalnd got easy draws where they didnt have to play any tough teams the still didnt make it. its a draw its not like they rig it - every seeded team is placed and then drawn from a ball as too which group, any team can be ...

Re: Predictions - Aust v Germany

depending on who plays,(there a couple of players i would be concerned about playing germany) if kennedy isnt shut down , they may get one back - id say a 1 or 2 nill to germany. germany will be tough and id say alot of yelllow cards to both teams as both are extremely physical

yes , 2006 with the introduction of guus hiddink came the wow! factor and hence the change. with out the clear direction led by this man and his team of experts do you think we would have changed ? my guess is not straight away - the results of gettting as far as we(aussies) got is largely ...

No i m not pro ffsa or EDJSA actually - i am merely trying to identify issues and get peoples opinions The bottom line is EDJSA could join and resolve numerous issues, trial as it were."try before you buy" A question to Goal!!! Re: EDJSA Just screwed the kids and coaches

very nice. i guess my concern is the state champ, being torn away and now edjsa have nothing to show their value. bascially it will come down to developing the kids and moving on quicker than later. as federation teams employ SSF yound kids will move over to them and edjsa will "bigger picture ...

EDJSA Just screwed the kids and coaches

Well, ive seen it all, the edjsa personal BS and stubborn pride of not negotiating with FFSA is going cost them big time. The edjsa held their AGM and nothing, not a breadth of fresh air, bar a query from a smaller club about FFSA and where EDJSA are heading. 2 years of waiting again, well all the ...

Re: Do junior teams need a "Sweeper"

mmhmh interesting, however sweeper is an old fashioned idea. it does not work and most pro teams use the goalie as a sweeper rather than a player. Zone defence and allowing 4 sweepers effectively. the new aussie format removes a sweeper position, tell me how many teams in world cup or pro leagues do ...
