Seems the benefits of affiliation is mostly for ffsa under pressure from ffa. It is the database they value and the fees that can be raised from that base. ffsa should be the ones paying saasl an annual fee for access.

No doubt the ability to win the title has been influenced by money. Recent years have seen teams buy a title it seems.Thats the way it is now, but who wouldn't love to see a small club and players with just passion and heart buck the trend.

Just a thought to enable the charity games at least... can they stop a player playing for or against an "invitation side" with two teams created (and insured etc) just for the event, but no official affiliation?
